Founded in 1948 in the famous temple town chidambaram, this vidyalayam has moved to the prsent location. since then samskrit lovers, young and old, throng this institution for proper study of this language and its rich legacy of literature.The subjects taught here are "prathma siksha " stotras -sastras- kavyas -nataka -alankars and some portions of vedas and upanishads too .
